Here is the email full of praise from Kathy. God is so good!!!! PTL!!!
PRAISE THE LORD! It looks like the strikes in Peru will not be as widespread as previously rumored! The ground transportation workers are planning to strike, but the airlines will be flying. Mostly those who are striking are those who do not want to pay increased traffic fines. The water rights decree that had people upset for months has been repealed. Jim Anderson has arranged for two vans to transport us from the Lima airport to our hotel and back to the airport the next day for our flight to Huanuco. We just need to avoid the downtown areas where things can still be pretty dicey. Please continue to lift up our trip, the PCF Peru Mission, and the country and people of Peru.
We also wanted to thank everyone who donated to our fundraisers & those who donated items/money for the mission. We have 8 full duffel bags, all weighing very close to 50 pounds to take down to the Peru Mission (and Kelly & I even have some stuff in our personal bags)! Thanks again.
Blessings,
Kathy for the Peru 09 Team

Two passages come to mind as I read this email:
Proverbs 3:5-6 "5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Psalm 118:8 "8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in man."
Thank you all for every prayer and bit of support that you have given us! Without you we would not be leaving for Denver tomorrow! Blessings, Lacey
